Either way, Olimar administers your JumpCloud organization: you don’t need to master the JumpCloud console.

Mode 1

Online ordering

You order on the Olimar client portal, from 5 to 50 licenses. Your JumpCloud organization is created for you, and you manage your users and licenses from your area of the portal. Advanced configuration (SSO, policies, MDM, integrations) is requested from Olimar support, by the hour or with a block of hours.

Mode 2

Guided

You describe your context; Olimar calls you back and sends you a quote. Essential or Standard deployment packages, or custom for larger projects. Above 50 licenses, ordering goes through a quote.

What JumpCloud does for you

Cloud directory

User accounts created directly or imported from an existing source (CSV file, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Active Directory), organized in groups that grant access to resources.

Single sign-on (SSO)

Access to applications through SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC), with a catalog of pre-configured connectors. Your employees launch their applications from the JumpCloud User Portal.

Multi-factor authentication (JumpCloud Protect)

Push notification or one-time code (TOTP) in the free JumpCloud Protect app, hardware security keys, biometrics, certificates, and passwordless login with JumpCloud Go.

Cross-platform device management (MDM)

Windows, macOS and Linux, plus iOS, iPadOS and Android: device enrollment, remote commands (lock, erase) and detailed inventory with System Insights.

Policies and patching

Device configuration policies (encryption, screen lock and more) and operating system patch management for Windows, macOS and Linux (Ubuntu), browsers and third-party software.

Conditional access

Allow access only from managed devices and trusted networks, by country or operating system, and require MFA when needed. Access conditions are part of Platform Prime.

Password management

A business password vault (JumpCloud Password Vault), available to your employees from their User Portal.

Cloud LDAP and RADIUS

Cloud LDAP (OpenLDAP RFC 2307-compliant, encrypted with LDAPS and StartTLS) for the applications and equipment that require it; Cloud RADIUS to authenticate users to Wi-Fi, VPNs and network devices, with optional MFA.

Remote Assist

Remote control of Windows, macOS and Linux computers, straight from a browser, with or without the user’s consent depending on the mode chosen. Every session is logged.

Audit logs (Directory Insights)

An event log of your organization, kept 90 days by JumpCloud and exportable for longer retention, plus ready-to-export reports.

Ecosystem

Integrations

JumpCloud builds on what you already use. Each integration is documented by JumpCloud and configured by Olimar, on request or as part of your deployment package.

Microsoft 365 and Entra ID

Your existing Microsoft 365 or Entra ID users are imported. JumpCloud can then create accounts, sync their attributes and manage security groups in Microsoft 365, and act as the identity provider for sign-in.

Google Workspace

Two-way user import and export, with automatic hourly imports. Once a user has signed in to their JumpCloud portal, their password is managed in JumpCloud and pushed to Google Workspace.

Active Directory

The Active Directory integration imports your users, one-way or with two-way sync, and supports a gradual move to the cloud directory.

Security and compliance

  • JumpCloud has completed a SOC 2 Type 2 examination and achieved ISO 27001 certification for its platform.
  • The SOC 2 report is available from JumpCloud under a non-disclosure agreement.
  • Hosted in the United States: your company’s JumpCloud organization is created in JumpCloud’s US region.
  • Administration console reserved for Olimar; JumpCloud requires multi-factor authentication for every administrator.

Can I buy JumpCloud as an individual?

No. Olimar offers JumpCloud to businesses only, for professional use. When ordering, you declare that you are buying on behalf of a business.

Where is the information hosted?

In the United States. JumpCloud Platform Prime is published and hosted by JumpCloud Inc., and your company’s organization is created in JumpCloud’s US region. Our documentation includes recommendations to limit the personal information you store there.

Is there a free trial?

No. JumpCloud has neither a free trial nor a Founder Offer. The subscription is monthly, with no commitment.

Will we have access to the JumpCloud administration console?

No. Olimar is the sole administrator of your JumpCloud organization. You manage your users (add, remove, suspend, reset password) and your licenses in your area of the Olimar portal; advanced configuration is requested from Olimar support. Your employees use JumpCloud’s User Portal.

How does billing work?

Per license (one user) per month, 5-license minimum, no commitment. On the last day of the month, the configured number of licenses is charged for the following month. A license added during the month is billed as a full month, paid immediately; a decrease is never refunded and applies to the next charge. Prices are on the Pricing page.

What happens if a payment fails?

You are notified by email. If the invoice is still unpaid on the 1st of the month, your JumpCloud organization’s accounts are deactivated; they are reactivated as soon as payment is received.

We have more than 50 users. Can we order online?

Above 50 licenses, ordering goes through a quote: request guided deployment and Olimar calls you back. A client with at least 3 consecutive months paid with no missed payment can go above 50 licenses themselves. From 50 licenses, payment by invoice due in 30 days is available on request.

Who supports us if something goes wrong?

Olimar, your only contact. JumpCloud provides second-level support to Olimar only. Support is ordered by the hour or with a block of hours, or is part of your deployment package.

Does JumpCloud work with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?

Yes. JumpCloud imports your users from Microsoft 365 (Entra ID) or Google Workspace, then manages their accounts and sign-in. Details are in our documentation.
