Challenge

A food producer supplying dozens of retail outlets was running everything by hand: orders taken over the phone and by email, production planned on paper, stock tracked from memory, deliveries with no proof, and invoicing keyed a second time into the accounting system. Every transcription error cost a delivery run.

Solution

A complete platform, delivered and in production: a portal where partners place their own orders, a back office driving production, stock and deliveries, an Android app for drivers on the road, and a multilingual public site with a map of retail outlets. All deployed on Kubernetes, with monitoring and daily backups.

What was delivered

• B2B ordering portal

  Partners order online, each under their own rules: three partnership types (direct sale, consignment, vending machine) with distinct permissions, configurable delivery days, a minimum order amount, and cut-off times — past which an order goes to approval rather than being flatly refused. An order's lifecycle is tracked end to end, from draft to delivered.

• Production back office

  An order becomes a planned production batch, then stock managed first-in-first-out — essential for short-shelf-life products — with threshold and expiry alerts. Deliveries are prepared, assigned and tracked from the same interface.

• Android app for drivers

  A React Native (Expo) mobile app shipped as an APK and installed on the team's devices: secure sign-in, the day's route, the detail of each delivery, barcode scanning, on-screen customer signature and product returns reported with photos as evidence. Nine screens, designed to be used one-handed, in a truck.

• Public site and outlet map

  A multilingual showcase site with the product catalogue and an interactive map of retail outlets and vending machines, kept up to date automatically from platform data — no more stale address list to fix by hand.

• Integrations and automation

  Accounting sync for invoicing and contacts, sales sync from the vending machines, object storage for photos and documents, transactional email, and sovereign-AI assistance for writing and analysis tasks.

• Operations

  Deployed on Kubernetes across separate environments (development and production), continuous delivery from the repository, decoupled web and API services for zero-downtime updates, daily backups and error monitoring in production.
